MS student Jinlong Han won Best Graduate Research Award for his poster titled, "Dynamics of Soybean vein necrosis virus replication in vector soybean thrips (Neohydatothrips variabilis)" from the IPFW Sigma Xi Chapter.
Han also won Second Place for his poster at the 2017 IPFW Research and Creative Endeavor Symposium in the graduate student category.
Han was also the recipient of IPFW Top 50 for his academic excellence.
Undergraduate students Lauren Hoffman and Emma Zolman won Best Team Research Award from the from the IPFW Sigma Xi Chapter for their poster titled, "Thrips Choice Tests on Uninfected/Infected Soybean Plants Demonstrate Mechanism of SVNV Transmittance".
Hoffman and Zolman also won Third Place for their poster at the 2017 IPFW Research and Creative Endeavor Symposium in the undergraduate student category.
